Tamera Jackson’s career is a story of transformation and innovation across industries.
She began at General Motors, where she spent nearly twelve years moving through roles in operations, marketing, sales, and customer experience. TJ was instrumental in launching GM’s first infotainment products, collaborating with engineers to meet evolving customer expectations and helping guide the company through its post-bankruptcy transformation.
As CEO and Co-Founder of Rootines, TJ bridged technology and healthcare, creating a digital platform that empowered patients and specialty pharmacies with tools for medication tracking and symptom management.
Her entrepreneurial drive led her to acquire and revitalize her family’s Chevrolet dealership. TJ quickly restored profitability, doubled sales, and managed a major facility renovation, earning recognition as Connecticut’s Family Owned Small Business of the Year.
Expanding into real estate, TJ became President of Firefly Ventures, overseeing property acquisition, renovation, and management. She brought operational discipline and a focus on long-term value to every project.
TJ’s expertise in technical innovation was further demonstrated at Nikola Corporation, where she led service operations for commercial hydrogen electric and electric vehicles. She built scalable support systems, streamlined supply chains, and developed training programs that improved customer and dealer experiences.
